TRAVEL TO LOS ANGELES WITH ME: BLACK GIRL ART SHOW
I wanted to share a little more of what happened behind the scenes of my trip to Los Angeles for the Black Girl Art Show. Because sometimes we see the beautiful photos, the finished booth, the paintings hanging on the walls, the smiles with collectors—and we don’t see everything it takes to get there. Traveling across the country with artwork is A LOT. 😅 There’s the logistics. The shipping. The packing. The setup. The customers. The schedules. The meals. The moments of exhaustion. The moments of pure joy. And then there’s everything in between.
PROJECT HIGHLIGHT: HERITAGE AND BLOOM
On Friday, April 24th, 2026 a private reception was hosted to unveil Heritage and Bloom—a stunning, large-scale installation that now anchors the lobby of a $96 million architectural and technological landmark at the world-renowned Spelman College.​
